The Writer's Center community is saddened to hear of the passing of former board member Jean Cryor (1938-2009). In addition to her duties at The Writer's Center, Ms. Cryor was a former Maryland State Delegate, Commissioner of the Montgomery County Planning Board, board member of the Maryland Women's Heritage Center, and commissioner on the Maryland Commission for Women.

In Memoriam: Jean Cryor
The Writer's Center community is saddened to hear of the passing of former board member Jean Cryor (1938-2009). In addition to her duties at The Writer's Center, Ms. Cryor was a former Maryland State Delegate, Commissioner of the Montgomery County Planning Board, board member of the Maryland Women's Heritage Center, and commissioner on the Maryland Commission for Women.
