Author Arthur Downey will be at the National Archives to dicuss his book The Creole Affair: The Slave Rebellion that Led the U.S. and Great Britain to the Brink of War, which looks at the successful slave rebellion that took place aboard the slave ship the Creole in 1841. The program will be followed with a book signing. Free admission.
