12 pm – 1 pm “The Writer's Life: A Report from the Field,” a panel sponsored by American Independent Writers. David A. Taylor (screenwriting), C. M. Mayo (novels), Alan Elsner (journalism), and Kevin Quirk (biography/memoir) discuss their lives as professional working writers, including the story of their careers thus far, their creative processes, and the business aspects of making a living at one's art.
